I ended up feeling pretty sick last night, and that even this morning I am having trouble functioning. It's been a long time since I've caught a cold. My head hurts, and it's difficult to breathe.I'm thinking of isolating myself in my room to write some scripts, especially since my body feels physically weak. If I can write up some outlines hopefully I'll make some progress.I was also thinking of creating a trello? Is that what people use for planning things, like commissions and stuff? Or maybe I'll just make my own google sheet. That would be fine as well. XDDSO! The stories for the Ringabel x Edea comic are:
1) Redo of the "Valentine's Chocolate" but just make it a chocolate sale. I can still add the old pages as a bonus, because I'm style has changed a lot, and the art size is wrong.
2) Short - Extra Key? I'm not sure where this went but I saw notes on it, so I guess I can use it? It's just a thought, nothing graphic at all.
3) Edea Cooks??? - I have notes on this!!
Extras - Old comics just for show to fill in space?
PLUS A FEW ART WORK! I NEEDS TO BE NEW I GUESS???I feel like I'm just going keep adding to this... but that's okay if it's just one book for myself??? XDD Keep thinking that.

Okay. I did some practicing on some doujinshi paper I had with the g-pen and it's also HARD! But it's a bit easier than the Saji for me so it perked me up a bit. I felt the paper, and much less texture in terms of tearing and scratching the surface. This is still my first nib, so it's been used a few times already. When I was working with it, I did see a bit of ink dried in the crevices, though I'm not sure if it's new buildup or old. I should clean it properly next time.My handle of the pen isn't great, and a lot of it is super thick. I am pretty heavy handed, and it seems more evident with a nib pen vs felt tip pens (?) My brain isn't working when I'm down with a cold. I've definitely think that for the Alternis x Edea x Ringabel doujinshi that I am working will be digital. As much as I like sketching by hand, I don't think I have any patience or time to learn to ink it traditionally.But I still want to do something with the materials that I already have! Inking is fun, but my quick sketches are all so boring. I'd like to think of something fun to ink, so I think I may move to my Canson sketchbook and do some ink practices in there... One a day, hopefully to just GET THINGS DONE.Lastly, I thought of how to work on finishing the very first Rindea story that was a WIP on Tumblr so many years ago. I need to change the story a bit and redraw it. I'll write the notes on paper in just a bit SO I DON'T FORGET. I want to get them made, and even if it's just printed at home (that's okay!) I'll die with something made... I hope.

I ended up starting some sort of inking practice for myself by doing a rough sketch at night, then inking in the morning before lunch. If I can manage that for a few days, hopefully I can see some drawing and/or inking improvement. I know it would be better to attend a class, but I don't have the time or money for that right now sadly so I'll try anything because I haven't drawn in ages.After doing one day of testing I can confidently say I probably will never be able to do a page traditionally!! XD But it's okay, it's still fun to practice and try and use materials!

I think I'm having a bit more fun just trying to figure out how to customize this site.
So my first plan to get some warm up started is to look through my old collection of screen tones. These screen tones are REALLY old, but I've never used them and it's a shame to let them be wasted. If I never use them now, I'll never use them ever...
Currently my Deleter Jr. collection is contained in a small folder I bought at Daiso. The pages are bit flimsy so it might not be the best way to store them. Anyway...
A few styles are going yellow! I don't recall them being this color 10 years ago. Here is what I have:

JR-133 Rough Pattern? - It was $2.20 at Kinokuniya in the 2000s???
Most of these are patterns. I don't know what I could do with these except backgrounds or clothes for some casual stuff... but they look like they'd appear in some 1990's style artwork haha... They're a bit outdated perhaps. Maybe for side drawings and stuff?
